Question - How do you pronounce Broca?

You'd have to ask Larry Hama for certain, but the spelling lends itself to be like I said (brak-ah) would be spelled Brocca and not with one 'c'.

I agree. I grew up saying 'Brocka', but I understand now the phonetically it should be pronounced Bro-Ka because of the vowel-consonant-vowel rule, making the 'o' a long and not short vowel.
